Job Description:
Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator must be self-motivated, energetic, driven for success and results-oriented. Your keen knowledge of marketing, advertising and communications will prepare you to work with our branch network and the solutions (consulting) sales team to create and support strategic marketing plans designed to drive net revenue within our staffing and talent management solutions businesses while enhancing our brand.
Responsibilities:
Working in a professional and positive sales-focused environment, you will provide great service to our various departments and branches that meet or exceed their time, quality and revenue expectations. In this role, you will create and execute programs promptly and accurately, respond to requests and inquiries and perform other duties as required.
You will perform a wide range of marketing and social media responsibilities as a member of the team, including:
- Develop and implement marketing and recruitment advertising campaigns to attract and retain clients and candidates as well as promote Drake’s suite of Talent Management Solutions;
- Prepare and manage media advertising plans to strengthen the brand and achieve specific client and candidate objectives;
- Social media (we’re very active and open to new things in the space), blog (content curation and marketing) and the Drake Mobile App (global launch planning & execution, plans for Version 2/other platforms, and user support)
- Manage online marketing campaigns, including Google Adwords, Facebook ads, etc.
- Coordinate the creation of print and online advertising for targeted client and candidate focused campaigns;
- Review and develop content for online/offline recruitment advertising vehicles;
- Source suppliers and vendors for online/offline marketing efforts;
- Manage and maintain online resources for promotional merchandise and collateral inventory ensuring items are branded correctly and kept up-to-date;
- Formulate and disseminate communication regarding new and existing sales, marketing and operational processes and procedures;
- Plan and prepare for tradeshow, conference and job fair participation in cities across the country;
- Manage and track national and regional job boards in terms of usage, costs and training requirements;
- Review results of all marketing and advertising programs/campaigns and track ROI to understand success rates for future planning; and
- Understand industry trends and identify opportunities to increase Drake’s competitive advantage and market share.
Requirements:
The role is perfect for a certain type of person – fit is extremely important to us. We’re also looking for a certain level of knowledge and experience. Therefore, please consider the following requirements carefully before deciding to submit an application:
- Minimum 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in a professional services, advertising, consulting or business-to-business environment, with a focus on planning and implementing integrated marketing campaigns – if you don’t have two years, you will be expected to make a great case for why we should still consider you (creativity encouraged)
- A degree or diploma in marketing, communications, business, or supplemental post secondary education combined with relevant experience
- Proven experience with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Blogging)
- Proven track record of developing campaigns that delivered a strong ROI
- Ability to work with all levels of an organization – right up to the C-level
- Strong collaborator and persuasive communicator
- Strong negotiation skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (French and English would be an asset, as we support offices in Quebec)
Experience with the following marketing communications tactics would be an asset:
- Collateral/content production
- Direct mail/contact programs
- Conference/event/tradeshow management
- Media relations
- Google Adwords/Facebook ads/ LinkedIn Ads
- Internet communication, and
- Copywriting/editing
